More than likely you have heard the saying, “You get what you pay for.” Generally what this means is if you purchase something that does not cost that much, then expect the product or service to be inferior to something that may cost more. Many times this proves to be true.
I want to tell you a story where it definitely worked that way. We kept buying a cheap weed eater and without fail, every year, something would break and when we took it to the local small engine repair shop, the owner would tell us that it cost more to repair it than what you paid for it. After a few years of the same story, we decided to change. We now own a Stihl weed eater. Since we have owned it, it has not needed to be repaired and that has been for over four years. It cost two or three times more than the cheap one, but we have already reaped the benefit.
Even though the saying rings true many times, sometimes it does not. One such case where it doesn’t ring true is an event that takes place this Friday, August 18, 2017. Ken Sawyer and Rob Peecher with Mooncalf Press have put together a small business summit. They are bringing together industry experts on various topics to help the business community. It’s absolutely free. WOW!
I personally know all of these experts and each of them has a heart of gold and enjoys giving back to others. Each of these men brings years of knowledge to the summit.
The 2017 Small Business Summit is an opportunity for small business owners to get expert advice and information on a variety of topics that affect most small business owners – everything from sales and marketing to taxes and accounting.
The Summit is planned for August 18, 2017 and is free to join. Anyone can ask questions, and if you cannot attend the entire event live on Facebook, the content will be archived and you can watch it later.
What challenges are you having with your business? Watch this summit and you can send in your questions and they will be presented to this panel of experts. The format provides that each person will be on the air for approximately 20 minutes. For 10 minutes of that time, they will give some valuable tips for business owners, and for the remainder of their time, people from around the world will be able to send in questions.
The best part of this summit is it doesn’t cost you a dime. The only thing that you will have to do is listen, take notes, ask questions and implement what you learn. I plan on being there for the entire show because I can always learn or reaffirm something that I know. Don’t break out your super hero costume of the Procrastinator. Do it! Do it now! Go to the link, read more about it and register! Yes, I’m talking to you!
